Dr. ADRIENNE SCHUPBACH

MD

Dr. Adrienne Schupbach is a double Board-Certified Dermatologist and Mohs Micrographic Surgeon specializing in all aspects of skin care, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Her professional areas of interest are widespread and include skin cancer detection and treatment, psoriasis therapies, skin care, acne and rosacea treatment, eczema and contact dermatitis. Dr. Schupbach has years of expertise in skin cancer detection and treatment, with a particular focus in surgical therapies including Mohs Micrographic Surgery.

Dr. Schupbach graduated Summa Cum Laude at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She completed medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago and graduated at the top of her class. Dr. Schupbach earned several awards for academic performance in medical school including the McGraw Hill Appleton-Lange Award and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her internship in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Schupbach then returned to the University of Illinois at Chicago to complete her residency in dermatology. She has multiple publications in medical journals and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Schupbach and her husband are blessed to have four wonderful young children and her hobbies include spending time with her family traveling and enjoying the outdoors together hiking, camping, boating, fishing and skiing.

 

Dr. DOUGLAS LEONE

MD

Dr. Douglas Leone is doubly board certified in both Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery. He specializes in all aspects of skin care, with a focus on detecting and treating of malignant and pre- malignant skin conditions. He has treated over forty thousand skin cancers and is committed to providing quality, individualized, and up to date healthcare to his patients. Dr. Leone specifically specializes in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. This surgery is the most advanced treatment for skin cancer as it provides the highest cure rates and leaves the smallest scars. He is also professionally trained and experienced in performing additional skin surgeries and cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Leone graduated Summa Cum Laude at the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign, and completed his medical degree at University of Illinois at Chicago in May 2006. While attending medical school, Dr. Leone achieved multiple honors and awards, including: McGraw Hill Appleton-Lange Award given for Academic Excellence in medical school and the Senior Legacy Endowed Award for the highest overall academic performance ranking #1 in his medical school class. He was also elected by his peers to serve as class president. He completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Connecticut where he was chosen by staff to be chief resident. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, along with a variety of outdoor activities including fishing, camping, hiking, skiing, and scuba diving.

 

Rebecca Bartlett, NP

Family Nurse Practitioner

Rebecca Bartlett is a central Louisiana native. She graduated with honors from Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana, where she served in numerous leadership roles and graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree. After becoming licensed as a Registered Nurse, Mrs. Bartlett worked in both inpatient and outpatient surgical settings as a preoperative and postoperative nurse for eleven years.  During this time, she obtained national certification as a perioperative nurse by the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN). While working as a Registered Nurse, Mrs. Bartlett also completed a Master’s of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in nursing education. Her work history includes teaching both classroom and clinical under-graduate nursing students at Louisiana State University at Alexandria.

Mrs. Bartlett is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and a licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. She completed her nurse practitioner education from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana at the top of her class. While enrolled at Southeastern University, she was a member of the international nursing honor society, Sigma Theta Tau.

Mrs. Bartlett has worked as a dermatology nurse practitioner with a board-certified dermatologist in Alexandria, Louisiana for the past several years. Through this experience, she found a passion caring for patients in the dermatology specialty, both medical and cosmetic. Currently, Mrs. Bartlett resides in Alexandria, Louisiana with her husband and their two young children.

Dr. Rebecca Soine

Board Certified Dermatologist

Dr. Rebecca Soine is a board-certified dermatologist, specializing in all things skin care, including general dermatology, cosmetic procedures, as well as surgery, and is committed to bringing exceptional health care to Rapides Parish.

A graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine with a combined residency in Dermatology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Rebecca Soine has been practicing dermatology since 2013. In that time, she has enjoyed the challenge of treating all types of skin and providing unique, thoughtful, and effective care plans for each patient.

Dr. Soine is committed to Rapides Parish by bringing much needed expanded services to her practice to better serve the area. In addition to dermatological procedures, Dr. Rebecca is also able to provide cosmetic services. This includes injectables, such as Botox, Dysport, Juvederm and Restylane products, and Sculptra Aesthetic. Dr. Rebecca is also an expert in Laser Skin Care and customizing topical skin care treatments for her patients.

With education playing such a large role in her own career and experience, it’s only natural that she would want to give back. Dr. Rebecca is on staff at both the LSU School of Medicine and Tulane University’s Department of Dermatology. She is determined make sure that every new class of practitioners has a strong foundation to provide outstanding care to their future patients. Additionally, Dr. Rebecca Soine is a leading expert in Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma and co-runs one of the only region-wide clinics for treatment. 

When this extremely dedicated mother of four manages to find a spare moment, Dr. Rebecca loves spending the time with her family, traveling, running, and “letting the good times roll,” not only during Mardi Gras, but throughout the whole year.
